Story time!

So there are these four friends. Let's call them Bobby, Justin, Cara and Angie. Bobby and Cara start dating, get engaged, and then shit starts to go downhill. Aside from random terribleness happening with outside people, they also become terrible to each other. They break up, both parties feeling they were wronged. Soon after, Bobby and Cara begin to believe they were wrong to end it and get back together, despite the advice of Angie. Terribleness reigns again, although this time it probably is more Cara's fault. At this point Bobby is no longer friends with Angie, for reasons that are tangential to the story. But he is still friends with Justin. But then a while later, Justin and Cara decide to hook up. Bobby cannot believe this is true, after Justin saw whan Bobby went through. Angie is happy for them, because she loves them both, but she is also sad for Bobby, even though he ahtes her. Eventually Bobby and Angie make up, just in time for Angie to have to watch the way Bobby acts when Justin and Cara get married. It's not nice, but it's understandable. As time goes on, Angie loses touch with Cara and Justin just because life happens that way sometimes, but she and Bobby are still friends, which is almost miraculous. Then some bad news about Justin and Cara comes to the attention of Bobby and Angie, and Bobby is way too happy about it. Angie is sad about that, as well as about the news itself. So here are some questions:

Is it okay for Angie to think that Bobby's anger is acceptable, all things considered?

And if so, then is it also okay for Angie to be really concerned about Justin and Cara as well?

And would it be out of line for Angie to still love Justin and hope that he's happy, because it's not his fault that he fell in love with the girl that hurt his friend?

And if Angie still loves Cara and misses her and feels awful that she didn't know about this info ahead of time, does that mean that their friendship is lost now?

And what if it is lost? . . . Then that might mean that all the terrible things that caused Angie and Bobby to be ripped apart in the first place might be meaningless?

But no, friends drift sometimes. . .it doesn't invalidate anything, does it??

Sometimes I say I have no regrets, but that's not true. But sometimes I don't know which things I regret.
